Aquasafe
Contaminated and dirty drinking water…
…is not high on most citizens’ wish lists.
As a waterworks, water utility, wastewater utility, etc., you have a legal responsibility to keep drinking water clean and free from bacteria.
Likewise, companies may be held liable if water flows back from their installations into the public water supply.
The company’s responsibility
⇒ Do you use water hoses for cleaning or in production?
For example, for:
- Flushing drain pipes
- Cleaning and rinsing sanitary equipment
- Cleaning and rinsing agricultural facilities
- Or other situations where an air gap is required, i.e. where category 3–5 protection is required
If YES, how are your installations protected against backflow?
Without proper backflow prevention, you risk spreading contamination and bacteria into the drinking water supply.
And that can result in costly liability claims.

Danvan offers the very best Type 5 protection solution.
Our Aquasafe Backflow Preventer is:
- Manufactured in Denmark
- VA-approved by the Danish Technological Institute for category 3–5 according to DS/EN 1717
- Equipped with a free air gap according to DS 13077 family A – type B
This means you can avoid backflow and contamination — and, in the worst-case scenario, a large number of people becoming ill.
Delivery time: approx. 1–2 weeks.
