A Moving Gutter System (MGS) automatically moves and spaces growing gutters as crops develop. This maximizes greenhouse space utilization and significantly increases production capacity. How Does a Moving Gutter System Work?
The system automates the crop lifecycle from planting to harvesting through mechanical spacing units adapted to the different growth stages of the crop.
- Close spacing during the initial growth stage: Young seedlings or cuttings are placed in gutters positioned closely together to minimize space requirements.
- Dynamic spacing: As the plants grow and require more light and airflow, the system automatically increases the distance between the gutters.
